Members

The NSWBGA offers a range of membership options for a low annual fee (tax deductible).

The membership period runs from 1 May to 30 April each year, with renewal due 1 May.

Eligible to be nominated for the annual Greenkeeper of the Year Award
Subscription to “The Bowling Greenkeeper” magazine, our quarterly journal
Eligible to play in NSWBGA bowls events, including Federation Week, State Championship Week and Peter Mobbs’ Shield
Be part of the NSW Bowling Greenkeeping community, including networking, social events and important industry updates and initiatives

FULL MEMBERSHIP

Bowling green employees as classified in the various Bowling Green Employees’ Awards (Adults and Apprentices). Apprentices are not eligible until they have completed an employment (probationary) period of three months.

Ex-greenkeepers who have been members up to the date of their retirement from regular greenkeeping for a continuous period of three years.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Golf course greenkeepers from all states of the Commonwealth and bowling greenkeepers from Commonwealth states other than New South Wales, provided they are members of their state association.

Casual employees, curators, golf course superintendents and bowling green employees from states other than New South Wales, social members (all states).

Persons, not bowling green employees, with a close alliance to the trade and/or who share a common interest in bowls and social fixtures.
