Qualified Greenkeeper, Club Toowoomba

Club Toowoomba is seeking a qualified Greenkeeper. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be an enthusiastic and experienced individual that will be hands on in the day-to-day maintenance of the 1 Bowling Green and 1 artificial covered green and surrounding areas. The artificial covered green will be the first in the region.

The suitable applicant will exhibit the following qualities:

To maintain 1 bowling green 1x artificial covered green & surrounding areas. To work closely with the management committee to make sure the greens are always presented at their best & competition ready.

Requirements:

• Maintenance and horticultural management of the greens reporting directly to the management.
• Assist in greens replacement planning program (yearly). As well as ad hock greens repairs.
• Extensive knowledge of greens care and maintenance is also required.
• Knowledge in the safe and efficient operation and repair of all equipment associated with green maintenance.

This is a salary position with Award wages under Registered and Licensed Clubs Award with a 3 month trial period.

Experience in the use of a wide range of plant and equipment specific to the industry.

An eye for detail to consistently enhance the standards and quality of the greens.
